In this program, gymnasts will be challenged more physically and mentally than the Beginner girls class. Gymnasts will be taught skills on the bars, beam, and floor exercise. Strength, flexibility, and coordination will be a major concentration, as it is necessary to safely and effectively perform on all gymnastics equipment. Prior experience is a must, gymnasts must be able to do a backbend on the floor and a pullover on the bars. Classes are taught in a fun yet focused manner, encouraging students to achieve higher-level skills.
