United Gymnastics Academy opened its doors in 2007, originally co-owned, the facility is now solely owned by Glen Willmeng, with over 25 years experience coaching gymnastics.
Recreational Gymnastics
United Gymnastics Academy is a place for all ages to learn the sport of gymnastics and tumbling. Gymnastics is the cornerstone of all sports and the perfect foundation for beginning your child’s athletic training. Through gymnastics, your child will increase his/her coordination, physical agility, self-confidence, listening skills, work ethic, and leadership. He or she will also learn to respect their teachers and classmates. UGA provides a positive atmosphere with well-trained staff and one of the newest facilities in the south/southwest suburbs of Chicago.
Team Gymnastics
UGA coaches levels 3-10 of the women’s USAG program as well as all levels of the Xcel Program! Our team is built on the theory that through consistent, well-disciplined coaching, we can help develop young gymnasts into hardworking, self-motivated, and team-oriented athletes. We believe teamwork is the key to making individual athletes perform at their best. Our teams consists of over 80+ gymnasts and currently training for the 2024-2025 meet season!
