United Gymnastics Academy – Tinley Park is proud to announce the creation of UGA U. This scholarship program, designed for employees present or past, is a way for us to help our staff explore educational opportunities as they grow and develop in their professional careers.

 Since our inception, we have tried to create an environment where our employees can learn, develop and excel in the professional arena while they are with us, as well as into the future. We want our staff to grow into their fullest potential and know that we can help them in that pursuit. 

We know that means a lot of different things to people depending on their skills and interests. However, we believe that our employees consistently learning and pushing to be better ultimately makes UGA Tinley a better place to be and work.

UGA Tinley will commit a certain percentage of profits each year to this program and will host events specifically designed to fund this program throughout the year. We’ll have more information down the road but mark your calendars Sept 12th will be our first UGA U Open Gym where all proceeds of the day go directly towards educational opportunities for our professional staff.

The application process is simple but thoughtful. If an applicant has an educational opportunity they would like to apply for in the areas of Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Child/Youth Services, Athletics, Special Recreation, or similar they can apply for a partial or full price of the program scholarship. 

In a concisely written letter, applicants should describe why they deserve the recognition of the program and how it will help them be successful in the future while working towards their goals. 

Candidates will be considered on the basis of merit, potential and ability to create value from this program. All employees of UGA Tinley are expected to be respectful, have sound decision making, act decisively in opportunistic times and always strive to innovate. Recipients of these funds will have shown to be ideal stewards of our programs.  

We encourage the use of this program by all our employees for their benefit and as a benefit of working together at UGA Tinley.  

Starting immediately, UGA employees can apply for continuing education costs to be covered by the Scholarship Fund. We look forward to the opportunities and progress we can achieve to make our staff and community a better place.
