Skylar embodies everything we strive for in our coaching staff. She’s incredibly hard working, talented, exceeds expectations and will thrive in whatever she does in life! Read below to learn about Coach Skylar and her goals!

What’s your favorite animal?
Monkey

Tell us a fun fact about yourself.
I am a Disney freak- I love ALL things Disney. I have have over 100 pairs of Disney socks and a collection of Disney stuffed animals.

How long have you worked at UGA?
Since March of 2019

What will you miss most about UGA while you are away at school?
Nothing because I will still be working here on the weekends!

What is one of your favorite memories at UGA?
Watching Coach Jacque fly off of strap bar and into the wall because she didn’t wear wristbands under the straps (do not try at home haha)

When and where will you be going to school?
Aurora University, this August!

What will you be studying?
Exercise Science (pre-physical therapy)

Do you plan on participating in any extracurricular activities while at school?
Yes, Track. I run in sprinting and hurdle events.

What do you hope to do after graduation?
After I graduate from Aurora, I will be going to graduate school. I am thinking about going to Governor’s State University to get my doctorate in physical therapy. I would like to focus on athletic rehabilitation.

We are so excited for Coach Skylar and all her future endeavors. We cannot wait to see what she will accomplish in these next couple of years and well into the future!
