Welcome to United Gymnastics Academy Tinley Park!

We are so excited to have you as part of the UGA family! 

We want you to come to your first day of classes feeling completely prepared and ready to go. This welcome letter will guide you through your first day, as well as provide some general information you should be aware of.

What your child should wear/bring:  We recommend a leotard, but they are not required. Your child may wear comfortable clothes; t-shirt, tank top, shorts, sweat pants, leggings, etc. (torso covered) Hair must be pulled back, socks or barefoot, and no dangling jewelry.  We recommend bringing a water bottle. 

For your convenience, we have leotards for sale at our facility! 

Mask Policy: With the surge in cases of the delta variant of covid-19 we are requiring masks to be worn by all people in the facility.  This applies to all regardless of vaccination status and does include gymnasts.  As soon as transmission rates of covid-19 seemingly subside, so will our mask policy.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding. 

Where to park: Our parking is located on the east side of the building off of Oak Park Avenue. There is additional parking in front of the building (the north side). Please be careful while walking through our parking lot as it does get busy at times.

First day process: We recommend showing up 5 to 10 minutes early on your first day of classes. When you arrive, you will need to check in at the front desk! 

After you are checked in, your child will wait until a coach comes out of the side door and announces the class is about to start. 

At that time the gymnasts are welcome to walk into the gymnasium and they will be assisted from there. 

Refund Policy: UGA is fully refundable for classes that have not yet occured. In the event you are unable to attend the rest of the session, we will refund future classes. Any previously missed classes will go on your account as makeup days are available.  

Payment Policy: Tuition payments are due by the gymnast’s first class. *Contact us if you have any concerns about making payments* Any outstanding balances must be paid by week 4 of classes or your child may not be able to participate until the balance is paid. We accept credit card, debit card, cash, venmo (@ugatinley), and checks. 

Late Arrival Policy:  You may arrive up to 10 minutes late. If you will be any later than this, we recommend scheduling a makeup class. 

Make up policy: If your child is going to miss, or unexpectedly misses, their regular class time you may schedule a makeup class. Please visit the front desk to schedule a makeup. You can also schedule one by calling us at (708) 894-7171.  All makeups must be completed by the end of the term.  You will have until October 10th to complete any makeups for Fall Term 1.  

Preschool Child Policy: If your child is under 6 years of age we require that you stay in our facility for the duration of their class. If there is any reason you need to leave, please notify the front desk worker.

Waiver: Our liability waiver must be signed before partaking in any class or open gym at our facility. This waiver can be found on our website Click Here To Sign Waiver

Length of session: Our Fall Session ’21 will be 8 weeks long, spanning from 8/16-10/10. Registration for Fall 2 will begin 9/13

Parent Portal Information: You are able to create a parent portal account right on our website! Your account will allow you to register for classes, sign up for makeups, and make any necessary payments.

Preschool Open Gym– $5 (Ages 6 and under):  
Friday 12-1pm 
Regular Open Gym– $10 (All ages): 
Wednesday 12:00-1:30pm
Friday 7-8:30pm 
Saturday 3-4:30pm 
Sunday 12-1:30pm
